Architectural aspects of sodium nitrite use
Introduction to the use of sodium nitrite in construction. Hailan sodium nitrite is widely used as an admixture of concrete, and its effect is very superior. It can be used as an early strength agent to improve the early strength of concrete; rust inhibitor can prevent corrosion of steel; antifreeze agent can prevent freezing damage of concrete during winter construction. Different ways of use have different effects on concrete. When the use is unreasonable, it will cause harm to the concrete building.
1. The amount of early strength agent is not as much as possible. The content of sodium nitrite in Xi'an is 1.0%, the effect of sodium sulfate in 0.8% is good. When the content of sodium nitrite is 0.6% to 0.8, the concrete strength changes greatly, and the amount of concrete should be strictly controlled during use.
2. When the amount of sodium nitrite is insufficient, it cannot be used as a corrosion inhibitor for steel bars. Sodium nitrite as a rust inhibitor, its rust prevention effect increases with increasing concentration. The utilization rate in coastal areas is higher than in inland areas.
3. As an antifreeze, the amount of sodium nitrite changes with the change of ambient temperature. When sodium nitrite antifreeze is used at different temperatures, the misuse of sodium nitrite antifreeze can easily lead to freezing or strength of concrete projects at low temperatures. The amount of sodium nitrite should not exceed 7% of the amount of water.
In the process of using sodium nitrite, personal safety protection should be done, and protective clothing should be worn. Once poisoning occurs, it should be handled in time. In the storage process of sodium nitrite, because sodium nitrite has a strong oxidation effect, it should be avoided to be placed in a humid environment as much as possible, and it is often dried.
